About Beken & Son
Beken & Son has been owned since 2002 by Rod Hillier who worked as shop manager for previous owner Mr J.R Wilkinson for seven years before that.
Being one of the larger independent retail outlets in Cowes means that the shop always has room for a diverse selection of products.
Over the years the business has changed from being a camera shop in to a retail outlet selling binoculars, photographic & computer accessories, puzzles, frames & albums, traditional games, maps, books & local souvenirs with a passort photo service also on site but no longer sells cameras except for disposables.
Situated in Bath Road, Beken & Son is a short distance from the Parade in the far western part of Cowes. Coming from the Red Funnel or bus terminals follow the High Street to the very end in to Bath Road then follow Bath Road until just before it meets the Parade and the Beken & Son shop is on the left hand side.
From the Parade car park look over the top of the Band Stand and you will see the Beken and Son shop sign in Bath Road.
The business is not in any way connected to Beken of Cowes Marine Photographers
